Skate Armor Integrated Hockey Neck Guard Shirt Featuring Cut & Impact Protection for the Wrists, too!

I scoured the internet looking for the best neck guards. The other major brands all have a long rectangle that you wrap around your neck, or it's part of a base layer shirt, also shaped like a long rectangle that wraps around your neck. This is the only guard I've found that contours to the bottom part of your chin and jaw where it meets the neck and goes all the way down to the neck base with a small bib. It's really good protection, and completely covers the vital areas. The other rectangle wraps from the major brands always leave exposed areas both above and below and some are so thin, it's almost pointless to even have it on. The guard is also cut-proof, which is not the same as cut resistant. Cut resistant just means it's more difficult to cut through; Cut proof means you can't cut it. I guess if you took a sharp kitchen knife and stabbed at this thing repeatedly for 5 minutes it'll eventually be cut (not really sure what kind of hockey that would be). There's also a thin pad insert in it, so it can absorb impact as well. My only criticism of this guard is the velcro strap on the back. It wasn't placed well, so the velcro ends up scratching my neck. I'll take that over a cut carotid any day, though.

This is the second year in a row that we've purchased the protective shirts for under my kid's hockey gear. The quality lasts AND they have updated some safety features to make them even better. I would highly recommend. My kids love them as well - they aren't uncomfortable either.

Would be even nicer if you shipped direct worldwide. I had to use a forwarding service which is slow, expensive (extra taxes and freight) and a lot of hassle.
